Terms of Service

Boxmarkers helps you catalog what's in your storage containers using QR-code labels, photos, and item details, and find it again later. Some features — exporting your inventory, custom fields, advanced filtering, and additional household seats — require a paid subscription plan.

You need an account to use the Service. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

• Subscription purchases, upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations are handled exclusively on our web account portal, not inside the mobile app.
• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan) through Stripe, our payment processor, and renew automatically until canceled.
• You can cancel anytime from the web account portal; your plan stays active through the end of the current billing period.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

We also sell physical QR-code label stickers. Orders are processed and shipped separately from your subscription; pricing and shipping details are shown at the time of purchase.

You keep ownership of the inventory data, photos, and other content you add to the Service (“your content”). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you and anyone you share a household or organization with. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to upload what you upload.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything unlawful or to infringe someone else's rights.
• Try to access another user's account or data without authorization.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's normal operation.
• Reverse-engineer the app beyond what applicable law allows.

The Service is provided “as is.” We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or that it will meet every need — for example, Boxmarkers is a cataloging tool, not an insurance record, and you're responsible for keeping your own backups of anything critical.

To the extent permitted by law, Boxmarkers isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings → Profile. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of [state/country — fill in before publishing], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the date at the top of this page, and if a change is material we'll let you know in the app.
